FIREFIGHTING BUCKET FLORRY 2600

INTRODUCTION

Flory system is often step ahead of fighting forest, industrial and urban fires. This system is new air firefighting by dispersed water effect.

FLORY is system carried by a helicopter and the advantage comparing it to airplane are following:

- better characteristics at water-taking operation(rivers, lakes, seas).

- technological process. refill, range, water is dropped faster.

- flexibility in fire fighting by change of altitude, speed, ammount of dropped water etc.

- possibility of adding chemical additives(like foamers).

- water is highly dispersed and therefore is not a threat to firefights or ground objects.

- bucket is made from stainless steel and can resist salt(sea) water.

Firefighting bucket FLORY is built in different sizes dependant on helicoper carrying capabilities.

FLORY system was tested on field and in 1998. it came to Croatia fire fighting system as FLORY 2600 bucket(built for MI - 8 - MTV - 1 helicopter that can carry 3.000 kg on underslung external hook).
